This Week in Labor #11

Hello again and welcome to another edition of This Week in Labor. I am your host Tim Billado. We have a lot to cover this week so let’s get started….

This week we start off discussing the seemingly unlikely alliance between Uber and the Koch Brothers. What do these two behemoths have in common? Find out this week.

Next we visit the story of Barstool Sports CEO David Portnoy and his arrogant twitter comments regarding allowing his employees to organize. Will his words have consequences? Attorney David Rosenfeld thinks so.

And finally, we cover the recent visit of President Donald Trump to a Shell Oil plant in Pittsburgh. Workers from the company were forced to attend this rally or lose pay. This week we learn why that is legal and how we can fight it.

Thanks again for joining us this week. Don’t forget to like and subscribe to our Facebook page.
